Typekit was announced the other day, how amazing. This organisation seems to have been successful in securing contracts with font foundries, something which seemed remote at best before.

This represents a potentially major breakthrough for font’s on the web. There’s nothing to see yet but you can get more information on their site.

This new technique for embedding lovely font’s in your web design seems to be much slicker and promises to be fast, so is likely to be more seamless than the currently common SiFR method.
